Students of all backgrounds, no matter their privilege, should be able to find the resources they need. If a resource doesn’t exist to fit the needs of students, then, it’s SGB’s job to work and create that resource. While campus and the University are constantly improving, SGB must also grow and develop, too. As such, one initiative focuses on improving SGB by streamlining how your organization's finances are controlled. A process must be developed to streamline access to allocation money for student groups so that one department doesn’t control over 500 clubs' financial accounts. We want to move towards having each student organization to have their own bank account and cutting out the middleman, SORC.
