At multiple points in Pitt's history, the university has been on the frontier of breakthrough discoveries and groundbreaking research. It is now the time for us to be on the frontier of the student experience. Not only acknowledging our diversity but actively working to be as inclusive and understanding as possible. Creating opportunities and pathways to success for those who may not have had the most privileged upbringing. Most importantly, the realization from every leader and administrator from the top down, that we are humans first and students second.
Our goal is to combine returning experience with new insight to ensure that the Student Government Board works with the university to be as available and visible to everyone in their need or at least can direct them to the proper resources.
Please read our individual profiles too for Albert Tanjaya, Eric Macadangdang, Anaïs Peterson, and Victoria Tappan. If you have any questions or comments about what you what to see from us or the university, please get in touch with us at [email protected].
